1 Malaysia Executive Taxis Premier Convoy

Maju Expressway (MEX) was very pleased to have played a part in the 1 Malaysia Executive Taxis Premier Convoy organized by the Penaja Persatuan Usahawan Teksi Eksekutif Malaysia (PUPTEKM) on December 26, 2009. The convoy was organized by the association in order to create awareness amongst the public about their services. They had chosen the South-bound Rest & Service Area of MEX as their gathering point due to the ambience and facilities there. Another reason was that MEX is the shortest direct link to Putrajaya, where the officiating ceremony for the convoy was held.

Present at the function were PUPTEKM’s president, En. Azmi b. Md Yatim and representatives of MEX. The convoy started their journey from Putrajaya and ended at Melaka on the same day. They then proceed on to Johor Bharu and along the way made contributions at various orphanages, before returning to Kuala Lumpur.

Executive taxi drivers and their families gathered at the Rest & Service Area (South Bound) of MEX before leaving for Putrajaya where the launching ceremony would be held.	Participants preparing their vehicles to ensure the livery and decorations were attractive.
