Mr. Mohd Faiq Tan Sri Abu Sahid aged 32, was appointed as Director of the Maju Expressway Sdn Bhd (MESB) on 18 August 2015. Currently he is also the Managing Director of MESB. He was made the non-Independent and Non-Executive Director of Ipmuda Berhad on August 14, 2015.
Mohd Faiq graduated from Curtin University, Australia and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business. He sits on the board of subsidiary and associate companies of Maju Holdings notably Bright Focus Berhad, Maju Assets Sdn Bhd, ASM Development Sdn Bhd, ASM Development (KL) Sdn Bhd , ASM Development (Terengganu) Sdn Bhd and ASM Green Sdn Bhd.
He also serves as a Director of Maju Lingkaran Development Sdn Bhd, Maju TMAS Sdn Bhd, Kampung Tok Senik Sdn Bhd, Orenda Kuantum Digital Sdn Bhd, PRMD Holdings Sdn Bhd and PRMD Mining Sdn Bhd
TUAN HAJI HALIMI BIN TAN SRI IBRAHIM, aged 56 has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer on 1st September 2022. He started his career as an Institutional Dealer and later as an Investment Banker before venturing into entrepreneurship in 1994. He successfully started up companies in various businesses including Finance (club financing of six LNG Ships for MISC in 2001) and Asset Management, (establishment, marketing and finally management of RM500 million in assets). He was also the Founding Member Broker of KLOFFE and is currently involved in Property Department.
He holds Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Management from the University of San Deigo (Magna Cum Laude)
He was with Rakyat Merchant Banks, Corporate Finance Department, as Assistant Manager, involved in Restructuring, Mergers and Acquisitions and various Corporate Finance activities.
He was a Managing Director of Maju Concrete Industries and also a Director in Panji Timur Sdn Bhd which was involved in the Development of the Seremban Terminal 1, which comprises a Bus Terminal, Hotels, Shopping Malls and Corporate Tower.
He was appointed as Executive Director in Jernih Matang PGMS Sdn Bhd to develop 50 acres in Kota Damansara which comprises 2,000 units of Apartments, Commercial and Residential units.
Tuan Haji Halimi was involved in the development of Petroleum Products Storage facilities in Cilegon, Banten, Indonesia. He was also appointed as one of the committee members on Gas Storage (from 2009 t0 2012) under The International Gas Union (IGU) for the use of underground salt caverns as potential storage of gas. He was involved in providing the Design Concept of ReGas on the Jetty adopted by PETRONAS.
